Doors
Smart Systems offer a range of doors suitable for the architectural, commercial, public, new build and retail markets.The doors available are commercial hinged, commercial swing,patio, tilt and slide, slide folding, multi-track slide and automatic. Our doors are designed for use as open out or open in, single or double doors, internally or externally beaded with sidelight options for domestic and/or commercial applications. Doors are available with polyamide thermal barrier or as aluminium/PVC-U composite frames for high performance thermal efficiency.
High security glazing, locking mechanism including security
deadlock and hook bolts, dual colour options, excellent weather
performance (BS6375 Pt 1) are some of the many special features of
our door systems.
Our doors are compatible with a range of furniture and locking mechanisms and are available in a wide range of colours and finishes that comply with all relevant British and/or European standards. Compliance with Document L for thermal transmittance applies.

- Automatic / Manual slide
- Shopline
- System for shopfronts and doors. The series consists of vertical mullions which continue to the top. The horizontal transoms are formed between those mullions. Doors with overhead concealed closers, low or no threshold options.
- Commercial Hinged
- Econoline
- Partition screen system, non-thermal, internally beaded and double rebated profiles hung on face applied or butt type hinges. Suitable for heavy duty commercial applications.
- Imperial
- Heavy duty, dual hollow aluminium, high insulated profiles capable with internal beads to direct glaze units up to 52mm. Doors are double rebated with face applied or butt type knuckle hinges. Suitable for heavy duty commercial applications.
- Shopline
- Heavy duty, non-thermal, internally beaded door system hung on face applied hinges. Options for all around rebate or a rebate stop. Suitable for all commercial door areas including those rated ‘Severe Duty’.
- Steellook
- Angled exterior nosed, slim sight line frame profiles being internally beaded. Dual rebated open in doors hung on butt type knuckle hinges. Suitable for architectural domestic or light commercial application.
- Superial
- Super low insulated and acoustic profiles capable, with internal beads, to direct glaze units up to 62mm. Dual hollow aluminium sections, external flat faced with a dual rebate for open in doors hung on face applied or butt type knuckle hinges.. Suitable for heavy duty commercial applications.
- Triline
- Dual hollow aluminium flat faced profiles with internal beading. Doors are double rebated with face applied or butt type knuckle hinges. Suitable for light / medium duty commercial applications.
- Visoline
- Standard series of profiles with thermal break, used for most traditional door and window applications in houses and industrial buildings.

- Partition screen system incorporating top hung manual sliding door gear. The non-thermal, internally beaded profiles are suitable for heavy duty commercial applications.

- Wrap around glazed, thermal or non-thermal, horizontal sliding system with no encroachment of opening beyond depth of frame. Suitable for domestic and light / medium commercial applications.
- Slide Cold
- This standard series of profiles without thermal break has the same form as the Slide series except for the thermal break.

- Unique slide and fold dual hollow aluminium system. The doors which sit in a rebated frame have an external curved shape with internal beading. Bottom wheels and top glider are safely concealed within a dedicated floating mullion with the door leafs being joined by a butt type knuckle hinge. Suitable for domestic and light / medium / heavy duty commercial applications.
