Training for your future

The NVQ is an innovative qualification offered in partnership with Weston Technical College and under formal certification of the GQA. NVQ training allows fabricators to attain a nationally recognised level of competance in the production of glass supporting fabrications. The NVQ is more involved than the Certified Training course run by Smart Systems and usually takes at least three months to complete, with a minimum of three tutored assessment sessions at the Smart Systems Centre of Excellence along with the continual submission of reports on progress and development being provided to your personal assessor and tutor at Smarts.

Who is the NVQ for?

Customers of Smart Systems who wish to gain a recognition against a national standard. The qulaification is suitable of all those who work to fabricate products using Smart System products.

What's covered in the NVQ?

The course consists of units which cover the Smart Systems product range of windows and doors including:

• Production techniques
• Operating equipment
• Handling materials
• Safe working practices
• Working with colleagues

What will I achieve at the end?

Upon completion you will be awarded a Level 2 standard of NVQ in Production of Glass Supporting Fabrications, and have a nationally recognised level of competance.
