The Smart Systems product range is extensive and has been designed to be suitable for practically all applications; heritage, new build domestic windows, architectural, commercial, public and retail markets.  The range of profiles available is arguably the largest of any systems company and the versatility of the product range enables Smart's to offer distinctive designs in a wide range of colours and finishes. Whether you require a bespoke shaped frame for a heritage application or special coloured frames for a high performance commercial project there is a system to meet your requirements.

Smart Systems were one of the first systems companies in the UK to pioneer the use of a polyamide thermal break in window profiles. The Polyamide thermal break offers significantly superior thermal insulation compared to standard aluminium profiles; a popular example of this technology is the Alitherm window system. Smart Systems led the industry with the introduction of the Alitherm system; it was the first aluminium thermally broken profile designed in the UK specifically styled for the UK market. The system is suitable for both domestic and commercial applications and features a choice of ovolo, chamfered or square profiles.  The Alitherm system was one of the first thermally broken systems to offer open out sashes and also to feature a full BSI Kitemark Licence. 

Aluminium has many advantages over other materials; it is light weight yet high strength and combined with its' durability and formability enables striking designs that are not achievable with other materials. Aluminium is durable and resistant to many forms of corrosion. It is also highly recyclable and can accurately be described as the ultimate sustainable material.
