CE Marking Seminar Success

A series of one day seminars on the implementation of CE Marking held by Smarts on the 12th – 14th January have been heralded as a great success by attendees.

The seminars were held to support Smart’s customers with their preparations for providing CE Marking on window and door sets.

CE Marking is an initiative that offers fabricators the opportunity to provide a certificate of compliance with harmonised European standards and is recognised throughout the EEA. Implementing CE Marking will be a straightforward process for most fabricators supported by Smart’s CE Marking support software package that was given out to attendees on each day and will soon be made available for Smarts customers to download from their website.
  
The atmosphere was buzzing at the fully booked seminars which where attended by 120 people over the three days, despite the severe weather conditions affecting travelling conditions. The day also included a demonstration of Smart’s new products and tour of the soon to be complete manufacturing facilities.
