This very distinctive canalside new build apartment complex in Copperfield Road, London, has used Smart's Visoglide patio doors as access onto the balconies. Visoglide provided a comprehensive design solution for this challenging installation; a requirement of the specification meant all installation had to take place internally without the use of externally scaffolding. Despite the difficulties this caused, the Installer successfully completed all works on time and to specification. The project specification demanded the lowest possible u-values, this was achieved by using the visoglide doors glazed with Pilkington's sealed units featuring a stainless steel warm edge spacer giving a 1.6 u-value. |
