Ocean Blue, Exmouth

Project Summary

The striking Ocean Blue centre in Exmouth features function rooms and a café as well as a 12-lane ten pin bowling alley. Featuring Smart’s Alitherm 700 parallel opening windows and Visofold folding doors, visitors and guest at the centre enjoy uninterrupted, panoramic views out to sea.

The Visofold doors were installed curved-on-plan, enabling the elegant design of the building to be continued through the openings. Featuring internally folding apertures, the doors open onto an outdoor seating area, allowing the internal and external space to be enjoyed together. Perfectly suited to applications such as this, the Alitherm 700 parallel windows are ideal for installation within a curtain wall façade, allowing a balanced, effective airflow to be achieved whilst maintaining security and safety.
