Smart hosted a series of seminars this week, designed to help customers understand the changes that have been introduced to the Building Regulations (which came into effect on 15 June).

Around 170 customers from across the UK attended the three events, which were held at Smart’s 60,000m² manufacturing plant in Yatton, Somerset and led by the company’s Technical Manager, Anthony Murray. The seminars focused in particular on the changes to Document L, which will have the most significant impact on the aluminium window and door sector, with Anthony talking through the impact they will have on systems manufacturers, fabricators and installers.
