Smart Architectural Aluminium is delighted to be shirt sponsor for the newly formed local women’s football team, Yatton Vixens.
Set up by a group of mothers who were inspired not only by the success of the England Lionesses, but also their own football-playing children, the fledgling team competed in their first tournament last week, impressively finishing third in the Somerset FA Mini Series.
One of the Vixen players, Maree Doyle, said: “Five months ago, we were standing on the side-lines cheering on our children, but now we’re living our dreams and hoping to inspire every other woman who has ever wanted to play football.
“We’re incredibly grateful to Smart as our shirt sponsor and to the support they give us. We definitely feel like a ‘smart’ team in our orange and black kit, and we all love getting out on the pitch every Friday night, whatever the weather!”

After a great start in their first tournament, we wish them continued success and will be keenly following their progress.
