Smart Architectural Aluminium today announced the launch of its new Alitherm 60 door system, the latest addition to the company’s proven Alitherm Heritage portfolio. Fully compliant with Document L of the Building Regulations, this new range of high-quality, high performance single and double doors provides an elegant solution for both new build and refurbishment projects.
The doors’ distinctive slim sightlines perfectly complement the existing Smart Alitherm window ranges, which together mimic the appearance of traditional steel window and door systems – while delivering all the performance benefits of a modern aluminium system.
With a range including single and double doors, as well open-in and open-out options, Alitherm 60 provides a ready replacement for steel doors on heritage applications, such as building renovations or apartment conversions, or for sensitive conservation areas, where planning regulations require a like-for-like product replacement.
With a classically elegant design, the new doors also feature an enhanced polyamide break to provide excellent thermal performance, in compliance with Document L of the Building Regulations. A full range of complementary hardware, including stainless steel, heritage and Art Deco fittings, is also available together with Smart’s extensive colour palette to provide complete design flexibility.
