With a record number of visitors to the company’s Ecobuild stand, Smart Architectural Aluminium was delighted at the reaction to the display of its all-new Designer Door and Orangery Roof systems.
Speaking after the show, Smart’s Managing Director, Eddie Robinson, said: “This is the sixth straight year that we’ve exhibited at Ecobuild and it was without doubt our most successful yet. Not only did it give us an opportunity to show visitors our new door and roof systems, but we were also able to showcase several additions to our established window and door ranges, including a completely new, PAS24-approved, auto-slide door for our Smart Wall system.”
Visitors to the show were able to see several variants from the company’s new Designer Door range, the products developed to provide architects, developers and home owners with a premium-quality, high-performance and high-security entrance door. The range features a wide choice of styles and designs, from contemporary to traditional, complemented by a comprehensive range of size, glazing, furniture and finish options.
Also generating a great deal of interest was the new Smart Orangery Roof system, a contemporary, high quality and thermally-efficient solution. With slim site lines to maximise the glass area, the elegant system delivers both outstanding performance and aesthetic benefits, with high levels of security assured through its innovative design and high specification.
In addition to these major system launches, a number of additions to the company’s existing ranges, were also unveiled. This included a new 80mm profile for the high-performance Ultraline window system, as well as new Alitherm 500 and Alitherm 800 casement options to provide French mullion solutions for both cottage-style and contemporary property styles. A new Alitherm Heritage French door set, standard casement and tilt & turn window options was also on display, developed for more traditional, or Art Deco style projects.
Elsewhere on the Smart stand, the highly-versatile, four-pane Visoglide Plus sliding door was displayed, featuring a new slimline interlock, as was the Visofold 6000 Slide and Fold door, which now incorporates a new reinforced header bar.
Finally, among the commercial products on display, was the completely new Smart Wall Auto Slide door which incorporates Dorma hardware. With standard and fire-door options, this new product is the UK’s first auto slide door to have been fully tested to PAS 24.
