As part of the complete refurbishment of the porch at this residential property in Derbyshire, a new Smart Signature Door has been installed by Swadlincote Windows, one of Smart’s key fabricator and installer partners.

The Portobello design from the Signature Door collection was selected by the homeowners, thanks to its elegance, contemporary lines and robust performance, with the door providing the levels of privacy and security they needed.

Side panels from Smart’s Alitherm 600 range were also installed to both sides of the entrance door, with satin obscure glazing chosen to allow natural light to illuminate the porch, without compromising privacy.

The door, frame and side panels were all painted in an elegant Wotton Olive finish (CWD010) externally, and a timeless Gloss White (KL009) internally.

To perfectly complement the contemporary style of the new entrance door, the home owners chose hardware with a similarly sleek aesthetic, selecting a steel lever oval handle and matching escutcheon in stainless steel finish, and a matching Nu Mail letterplate.

The refurbishment has completely transformed the appearance of the property, with Swadlincote completing the whole project, including fully plastering and cladding the sides of the porch to enclose the space and enhance privacy. Understandably, the home owners are delighted with their new entrance porch and aluminium composite door.
